The design of the studio tries to sum up Albers' life and work and to communicate his interest in how can perception change the world around us. Translucent and transparent glass walls separates areas and translates this concept of "going to the deepest part of everything we see" to the space, so the most private areas are located in the background of the local.
The same concept is used for the interior design of the house. In this case, the evolution and abstraction of old brick walls through the house tries to transmit the possibilities of Art as a way to introduce, not to represent. From the common areas to the private rooms, from what we see to what we perceive.
